"At last year’s Digital Inclusion Conference, public, private and third sector representatives examined the issue of the final third – those adults in the UK left out of the technological revolution.  We heard ideas, opinions, hopes and pledges for future action."

"This year its time to find out how far we’ve come, who’s done what, how, why - and if not why not."

"The last six months have seen significant changes in our economy, resonating through society, industry and government.  The landscape for digital inclusion has changed, and we need to be changing with it.  If you’re rising to meet that challenge, or you want to know who is, this is the place to be."

Held at the QEII Conference Centre in Westminster, the Fourth National Digital Inclusion Conference is set to be the most exciting event yet inspiring delegates to think creatively about their own role in delivering the step-change needed to enable all citizens to benefit from digital technology.

In a year which has seen tremendous changes in the political leadership of the digital inclusion agenda, particularly with the appointment of the first ever Digital Inclusion Minister, The Rt Hon. Paul Murphy MP, the launch of a Digital Inclusion Action Plan for consultation, and the creation of a further new Government post, the Minister for Communications, Technology and Broadcasting, the political weight behind this agenda has never looked stronger. But there is still more to do and with the creation of this political leadership there is a need for the crystallisation of ideas around digital inclusion in order to ensure that resources are expended in the most efficient and effective ways.
