REGENERATION CONFERENCE™

The first National Sport and Regeneration Conference 2008, will bring together those working across the public and private sector sectors, targeting those at the forefront of delivering national sporting events through to ‘grassroots’ community sports projects and practitioners.

Chaired by Heather Rabbatts, CEO of Milwall Football Club, this national conference will hear from an expert panel of leading sporting industry professionals, public sector leaders and those at the forefront of delivering pioneering ‘sports’ schemes and major events, the overarching objective will be to examine and debate the role of sport in delivering lasting economic and social regeneration.
Following on from a charity football match at Millwall Football Club and a reception on the conference eve, the main programme will include debate, panel discussions, seminars and three main plenary sessions, which will tackle some of the most pertinent questions and challenges faced by those working across the sports and regeneration sectors.
