To celebrate the vibrant commercial life of Fulham Civic Books has published a book entitled Open for Business.
Boasting a foreword by Evan Davis, BBC News and Presenter of Dragons' Den, Open for Business offers a collection of black and white photographs taken by renowned photographer George Nicholson of 36 local independent shops and their owners- all recipients of a grant run by a local NDC called the Premises Improvement Grant Scheme, which matched pound for pound local businesses' investment in their own premises and offered business support and advice to help make North Fulham became a more attractive shopping choice again for residents and shoppers.
